Decades in 770
Rabbi Schapiro was privileged to spend many formative years in 770 — first as a bochur, later as a chozer, and then as a member of the Rebbe's Kolel. Over the years, he witnessed countless farbrengens, conversations, encounters, and special moments involving the Rebbe and many of the prominent Chassidim of that generation.
In recent years, Rabbi Schapiro began recording these memories, with a particular emphasis on events he personally witnessed and experiences he remembered firsthand. These recordings have now been transcribed and gathered into one volume.
The stories range from major historic occasions to small, personal details of daily life in 770 — moments that capture not only what happened, but something of the atmosphere in which it happened.
